Granny’s Kitchen, a cherished family-owned and family-run restaurant in Cherokee, NC, has been a culinary staple for over three decades. Founded by Ray and Teresa Williamson in 1984, the establishment boasts a genuine family atmosphere, with their sons, daughter, and daughter-in-law actively involved in the business.
Teresa, a proud member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, received the Minority Enterprise Development Award in the Restaurant Business category in 2007. Granny’s Kitchen is a TERO certified business, ensuring quality service through Qualla-T customer service training. Beyond the restaurant, their catering services have contributed to numerous cultural events, earning the Granny’s Kitchen crew the Duke Energy Citizenship Award for community service.
