Cherokee Syllabary Valentine’s Day Card Printing

Thursday, February 4 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm

 The Museum of the Cherokee Indian invites you to create a Valentine’s Day card for your special someone using a portable press that prints in the Cherokee syllabary. Jeff Marley, an enrolled member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and the Heritage Arts Department Chair at the Nantahala School for the Arts, will assist museum visitors with printing. The event takes place on Thursday, February 4 from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. in the museum lobby. There is no charge for this event.
