How will Cherokee affect you?
Join us at the Cherokee Indian Fair Grounds for the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians’ Christmas celebration December 15 through 17.
Festive Lights and Legends decorations will get you in the holiday spirit! Highlights include performances by the Kenya Safari Acrobats, a country-style cake walk, a raffle for a big gingerbread house, and hourly drawings for door prizes. Visit Santa’s Workshop in the Exhibit Hall to enjoy craft making, games for the kids, a bouncy house, and pictures with Santa. Take a glide on the synthetic ice-skating rink. There is no admission cost for this event, but individual activities require a nominal fee ($5 or less). Vendors will be on hand for you to buy that Christmas craft or get a bite to eat. Bring cash for the activities too—there is no on-site ATM and no bank card sales.
Don’t miss the “Christmas at Home” Parade on December 16 at 5:30 p.m.! Cherokee goes on the road with lighted floats, marching bands, and more. Gather at the Cherokee Welcome Center after the parade for a special lighting ceremony for our 40-foot Christmas tree!
