How will Cherokee affect you?
We cordially invite you to the Cherokee Welcome Center on May 19-20, where we’ll be saying sgi, or "thank you" with Cherokee craftspeople, face painting, traditional dancing, clogging, authentic storytelling, a cornhole tournament, and music. On Saturday, the bonfire starts at 7 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. Delicious Cherokee food will be available, made by and benefiting members of NAIWA. There will be a sampler platter and an Indian dinner plate as your meal options. The purchase of food and crafts may be made with cash only; there are no ATMs onsite.
Admission to the event is free.
In the event of rain, the event location will be moved to the Cherokee Indian Fair Grounds.
