Spring Garden Fair

Saturday, April 8 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm

The annual Spring Garden Fair is a great way to get your garden growing with helpful tips and instruction! Sponsored by Principal Chief Patrick Lambert and Legend Weaver Studios, you can expect vendors, demonstrations, classes, educational materials, door prizes, and much more. You can also purchase seeds, plants, flowers, seedlings, yard art, etc., so come one, come all, and let’s grow together!

Cherokee Heritage Day

Saturday, April 8 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

Join us for a day of family fun as we celebrate birds and animals. The Cherokee word for April is Ka-wo-ni, which means "the moth of birds." We invite you to the Museum of the Cherokee Indian for a day of celebrating birds and animals featuring storytelling, pottery making, dances, and myths and legends of the Cherokee. We will also host an exhibition stickball game with the
Ko-la-nv-yi Indian ball team called by Beloved Man Jerry Wolfe. Indian frybread will also be sold by Nikki Crisp.
